Semi-Interesting Factiods:
Lions: Led by TE Brandon Pettigrew, the 20th overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft , the Lions tight ends, which includes Casey Fitzsimmons and Will Heller, recorded 13 receptions at Seattle and 9 receptions at Chicago which are the two highest tallies of receptions in a single-game by a group of tight ends since 1970. Pettigrew also leads all rookie tight ends this year in receptions (21) and receiving yards (239).
Vikings Favre: QB Brett Favre, who was named NFC Offensive Player of the Week after his last performance before the bye week, currently ranks 2nd in the NFL with a 106.0 passer rating. Favre is also in the top five for most passing TDs (16 - tied for 3rd), highest completion percentage (68.0 - 4th) and least number of interceptions among QBs with 200+ attempts (1st). Favre’s 1.2% INT rate is the lowest of all players, and the Vikings 3 intercepted passes are the lowest of any team.
Just the stats, please:

What to watch: I want to see how Matthew Stafford bounces back after his 5 pick nightmare in Seattle. I knew he would end up having a disastrous start sometime during his rookie season. We now get to see if Stafford learns from the experience. Sinks, or swims.
Other than seeing the progression of the rookies and younger players...Hell, there is nothing to see other than the progression of the rookies and younger players. The Lions don't have a shot in Hell of beating the Vikings Favre.
Prediction: An afternoon full of this...
